We first met in September 2019, not knowing that a few months later the world would turn upside down. During Covid, we were apart for 16 weeks. It was not ideal, but it showed us we’re pretty good at handling challenges.
Once we were back together, we made up for lost time by exploring the world whenever we could. Highlights include South Africa, Canada and Singapore, and a trip to Australia to visit Issy’s family, where Ben got to see where she grew up. Ben joined Issy’s family and got to see the beaches, explore the neighbourhoods, and meet all the wonderful people who make it feel so special.
We also love adventures closer to home. Both of us love skiing and go every year. Issy also never misses the annual Quirk trip to the Lake District, where she has gradually learned to love climbing Wainwrights, or at least the views from the top.
